SYNOPSIS (EXPANDED) Naomi is a story told in real time about a woman and her mundane daily rituals. But one morning everything changes. Blood mysteriously starts appearing in her bathroom...and on her hands. And to Naomi's horror, an apparition of a blood-covered woman starts to haunt her. Is Naomi loosing her mind, or is this bloodstained ghost real? In between spectral visits, Naomi tries to calm herself with cigarettes and a relaxing bath. But the blood, and the ghost, keep reappearing with increased intensity. Finally, Naomi tries to escape her haunted bedroom, only to find out that she is locked inside her own prison. Trapped in a surreal nightmare. |
Then, suddenly, the bathroom door slams shut. Naomi seems to fall into a trance, strangely drawn to the menacing door. She slowly opens it. On the other side is the frightening answer to Naomi's madness. But is she ready to accept the truth, or must she relive this day of insanity again and again? Naomi wakes in bed, horror has turned to sorrow and sadness. She repeats her morning rituals, but now she is drowning in her own depression. We watch a woman as she spends her last day alive. Self-destruction is only moments away. But soon misery gives way to hope. And in the surprising climax, we witness that even a lost soul can find redemption. |
